Spring Nature Hike at Sandy Ranch

  • Sandy Ranch Johnson City, TX (map)

Join us for a spring hike at Sandy Ranch, a protected property in Johnson City (about an hour outside of Austin). This will be a 2-3 mile, moderate difficulty hike in the lush savannah along Hickory Creek led by Conservation Director, Stephen Ramirez.

Because this event is taking place on private property, we are limiting the number of people to 20 (not including children). We will send directions to the property in your confirmation email after you register. Be prepared for natural and uneven terrain. There’s a chance we may spot some birds, so bring binoculars if you have them! We have a limited number of binoculars available. You might also get to enjoy some wildflowers along the way. Please no dogs. Children are free!

Cancellations and Refunds

If your plans change, please let us know by emailing Valeria Bridgewater at valeria@texaslandconservancy.org at least 48 hours before the event. If you need to cancel within 48 hours, we kindly ask that you consider your registration a donation, as it may be difficult for us to fill your spot on short notice. Thank you for understanding!
